I hope so, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it getting better. They've been defensive at best in all the media I've seen on this EV credit issue. It's occurring to folks other than Rivian owners too. Hard to fix a problem they don't acknowledge. Sadly, the CO DOR gets more difficult to deal...
Just noticed that active Lyft drivers are eligible for no monthly fee discount plans with EVGo and EA - no minimum driving required. Details in the app - discounts aren't much different than the paid plans - 15% off for EVGo and $0.11 off per kwh for EA. Looks like Uber has a similar agreement...
I think this is pretty accurate. That's the reason $2/mi is my minimum when I Uber. If I did Uber for 100,000 mi - I would've earned a new R1S. Of course that's going to take a long time at the rate I do Uber/Lyft/Amazon (1,887 mi last year).
I do some limited Uber with my vehicle, but it's very part-time and only when they're offering greater than $2/mile - I've accepted 9% of the offers they've sent me, but if it's busy you can catch a good run(in Denver at least - although this could be impossible in some markets). I don't Uber...
Make sure the adapter switch is in the unlocked position, insert firmly, and then lock with the switch. If you’re having trouble, try setting the switch the other way. The markings were opposite of how I thought about it. After fighting with it my first couple of times, I tried setting the...
Lol - do you really expect people to sympathize when most of us waited years for our vehicles? Also August in Rivian language means 8/31 - definitely not one week prior to August.
Yeah, I screwed up at my St. George stop and should've charged longer - I could've then cut out the Mesquite stop. But 6 hours of charging is accurate any way you break it up. Might have been able to cut out one more as well with some better planning, but I was having trouble pre-planning...
Having never owned a Tesla, the only reason I even knew about the V2's in that lot was the Out of Spec Race to Vegas video. You of course can't see there's two sites there if you only have a Rivian registered to their app (I guess Rivian GPS would show me, but I have non-compatible filtered...
Green River EA charging score has fallen to a B now. This is the second time I’ve observed a charging score fall after having trouble at a station. Cool to see the rating system in action.
Semantics - however it happens, I want access to Tesla charging in Green River. I'm pretty sure Beaver, UT has v2 and v3, and it's open to Rivian. I charged my R1S there on Monday.

I had just enabled this in ABRP. Those charts are pretty handy - even though the app interface is very glitchy itself. I took a look back at this last night, and it looks like the Tesla derating issue did mostly occur in 90+ degree temps, never below 110 kw though.
I had trouble getting ABRP to produce a reasonable trip plan with the trailer - since you have to manually provide it a mi/kwh efficiency rate to calculate (at least thats the only way I could figure out to do it).
I don't recall what Rivian said the total travel time would be, but it was not...
This was my strategy - depleting to 10%.
The range estimates were pretty good on the Rivian nav, although a tad optimistic (likely not helped by my high speeds).
I charged until 30-40 m was predicted for arrival by the nav and ended up arriving with 15-20 mi at most stops. I did adjust speed...
