I've been paying close attention to performance the last few days, and I think I've had a few epiphanies as to why performance is (at times) so poor on the infotainment computer. But first a bit of context:
Many have noticed that the map app is generally very poor performing. Lots of lag when...
I can't say I've experienced that with mine, the half shafts were mostly an issue for G1 quad... Though it sounds like you may have something going wrong in that area.
I'd agree with the tech's analysis. Noticeable difference, but not HUGE. It's still the same suspension setup at heart, but with better tuning specific to the R1S. If that was the only difference between generations it would not be worth the upgrade.
Yeah the truck has always had a better ride...
So I've been snooping around Electrafi, anxiously awaiting more details about the 2025.6 update. And I happened to notice something odd about the only recorded vehicle that's installed this update.
It's a 2025 R1S quad - according to electrafi... except... it's got a history going all the way...

A few of my personal observations
Interesting - I can't say I've experienced QUITE to those extremes yet. I got my R1S late enough in the year that the highest temp I saw was 85, and this winter the coldest we've gotten where I live is 14. But I've been fine with HVAC performance in that range, at least
Doesn't bother me either.
With regard to the volume, I have noticed a bug that appears to be specific to Gen 2. It sounds funny, but the only way I can describe it is that the first time I enable highway assist on a drive, it'll "shout" the first syllable of the highway assist engaged sound...
Are the seats occupied? In my R1S it automatically turns on if it senses weight in the back seat.
If you're driving solo, and the front HVAC isn't enough to keep you comfortable I'd say something is wrong with your system. Mine is enough to cook (or freeze) me out
