I once drove my 2014 Leaf a constant 40km/h and achieved 200km of range (over 10km/kWh)… I don’t want to take the time to try the equivalent in my R1T lol.
edit: turns out it was 182km, but the point stands. Dug up this almost 10 year old post on my blog… my how things have changed...
Kyle confirmed in this podcast (at about 11:00) that the dual motor CT will have a locker on each axle... so there we go, one confirmed customer-facing major engineered benefit of the CT over the R1T!
One of many inconsistencies in that table - I tried posting a few corrections in the Twitter thread:
Couple of notes: curb weight R1T std cfg 6,740 lbs, payload 1,792. Max clearance CT should have * - only extract mode - unknown for actual driving. R1T giant glass roof too. R1T cross-hydro...
The first part of your statement would only apply to the wire coming into/leaving the battery pack, and even then only if they under-sized the wire in a 400v system vs 800v. Again, at the cell level, the voltage is the SAME. This is inherent in the chemistry of the batteries, and cell format...
I mean the 800v has nothing to do with the pack being able to hold a longer 250kW or 350kW; that is related to the ability of the pack to move waste heat and cell characteristics (I.e. will they put up with a ~3C charge rate).
Nope. As I said further up thread:

We don’t really know the constraints in most DCFC chains on the vehicles (R1T is pack thermals).
800v does mean you can use lighter gauge wiring from the port to the battery pack, but is completely independent of the pack itself. The cells aren’t 800v, and pack design plus cell specifications...
I’m also curious to hear more about the seat height off the floor. Honestly it’s better than I expected, but still not enough for my family with tall teens.
Checkout the hilarious looking tent too:
I wonder if their air suspension can "level" the sail panels of the truck enough so you could use a RTT on the bars?
I also note that they don't have any promo images showing a roof box on those bars... it'll look hilarious.
