Ordered Jul 2 and have heard nothing since. Going to assume thatâs because of the 4th of July holiday.
Since the Lomax site is a cluster f*ck when it comes to understanding which cover is which (all R1T covers are labeled as âDiamond plateâ) and whatâs what between âProâ and non-Pro versions, I...
âAll owners waiting for [one] should have it by the end of this yearâ ... that does not sound promising for people who thought theyâd have it this month or next (i.e., âSummerâ).
Yup. I still have two running out from the center console and they arenât effected at all. (I think you can see the cables in photos I posted above; I sort of pushed them out of the way, but theyâre there).
Ordered. Iâve been using a thick âmoving blanketâ across there, to make a firmer floor, then put dog beds (secured by the seat belts) on top. But even with the thick (folded) blanket, the dog bed on the driver side still kinda sinks/caves in. I was going to start using a cut piece of 1/2 maple...
99% of the time my truck is plugged in to 60A L2 Rivian charger in the garage, where GG isnât active (not needed), so I donât really care either. In fact, I donât generally go back and review GG recordings unless I have a reason to suspect something. But that doesnât mean I should have to...
Not really a valid excuse, for a couple reasons:
1) The whole point of Gear Guard is to work while youâre away from the vehicle. If owners are having to disable this security feature because it excessively drains the battery, whatâs the point (of having it)?
2) My vehicle recorded exactly two...
Posted this to my IG Story recently, and it summarizes what I currently experience. This was at the airport, no extreme temps either way, no special measures taken (Gear Guard ON, didnât set to Shipping mode or Camp mode, etc). I didnât check on the vehicle at any point between departure and...
Shipping time on tonneau if ordered today? Canât wait any longer for phantom Rivian manual cover Iâve already paid for and need *something* for the summer.
Installing mine today. Unfortunately, one of the two USB-C ports on the module for mine isn't delivering power. I emailed @Mcdubjr and he responded almost immediately, even though he's on vacation, and offered to send a replacement module once he's back. Excellent customer service.
Great...
Yes. The Rivian âconvenience chargerâ might have some fail safe logic in it that prevents any issues, but you should always set Amps in the truck to 80% of the circuit. So, even if you had a 50A plug available, youâd set the truck to request 40A. This is even more important if the truck is set...
On my recent 3k mile road trip, this was a pretty typical charge session for my R1T on a 350kW EA charger. These are all from the same charging session, as I wanted to see what the curve looked like on my truck (having seen Kyle / Out of Specâs videos and Rivianâs known thermal challenges)...
Quick update on tire wear, since it's come up in other recent threads ...
Iâm at about 5500 miles on my Conti TerrainContact AT 22s, which I mounted almost immediately after delivery. A little more than half of those 5k+ miles have been in Conserve Mode and Low suspension setting, entirely on...
I didn't question this when setting up the app for me, as the owner and primary driver of my R1T. However, when I went to set up on my wife's phone, so she could us PAAK and have her own profile, I didn't understand why it needed CC info for her rather than allowing a simple "second driver" sort...
While I agree, the forums tend to focus on the negative over the positive, my post was in no way meant to be a list of gripes. As noted above, maybe my observations from the trip were subconsciously negative ... but I didn't "gripe" about the truck. DCFC is a shitshow, and that's well documented.
