  1. Water in spare tire compartment

Mine has seals. But it's a Gen 2. And water still gets in anyway ?
  2. Any known issues with Phone Key (PaaK)?

R1T. No, I noticed the issue the day I picked it up from the service center several weeks ago. They didn't touch anything that should have affected PaaK so not sure what happened. It could have happened at any point during the three weeks they had it.
  3. Two modes of entry is better than none.

Sorry, edited my post for clarity. I was specifically talking about the Gen 2 key fob.
  4. Apple music library album art missing?

This happens to me in Tidal, particularly after system updates or restarts. Switching to Spotify for about 20 minutes and then switching back always restores the artwork for me.
  5. Two modes of entry is better than none.

Gen 2 key fob also has NFC which does not require battery to function.
  6. Discovered new way to unlock! Tap phone on door handle

PaaK function was repaired by mobile service today, so I was able to do some testing. I detect an NFC signal at 13.56 MHz from most of the driver's exterior door handle, in addition to the center of both phone charging trays. I additionally detect an RFID signal at 125 KHz from both charging...
  7. Any known issues with Phone Key (PaaK)?

Mobile service fixed this issue for me today. Here are the work notes: Cause: - Technician verified customer concern, Phone key was not set up and would not fully pair to the vehicle. Technician scanned for trouble codes and found the overhead console module was not programmed for vehicle...
  8. Rivian now charging $.68 per kwh

I'm on a road trip right now through California / Nevada and I'm seeing the same 68¢/kWh pricing at RAN sites. I switched to Tesla Superchargers. With the membership so far they've been 20-40¢/kWh cheaper than RAN.
  9. So you got a loaner Rivian, what to do when you take it back, checklist.

You should tell that to all the service centers ? Lake Forest, CA only has maybe 4 available to them.
  10. So you got a loaner Rivian, what to do when you take it back, checklist.

Just go to Settings > Vehicle > Service > Clear Settings. It'll make your life a bit easier.
  11. Discovered new way to unlock! Tap phone on door handle

iOS may not support this. Apple is using a gimped NFC implementation on their phones and it doesn't support as much as Android. I would test, but am currently unable to to enroll any PaaK. ?
  12. Phone does not pair on 2024.51.31

I'm having the same issue on my R1T, but it started happening before I installed 2024.51.31. I installed the update to see if it resolved the issue. It was at a service center for three weeks, and during that time I got a new phone. The day I picked it up, I attempted to add the phone as a key...
  13. No Notifications of any kind on screen

What notifications are you expecting? The only one I can recall seeing is when it's preconditioning the battery for fast charging.
  14. Highway Assist - First Impressions

Horizontal. It was a 2024. Returned it a day ago and can't be happier being back in the R1T.
  15. Highway Assist - First Impressions

Autopilot. The loaner did not have FSD activated.
  16. Highway Assist - First Impressions

That's quite a statement. Absolutely not the experience with a Model X I've had for the past three weeks.
  17. Phone as a Key doesn’t work for women

Hopefully she doesn't find out you call her your "wide" ?
  18. Minor irritation: wrong FM station description

My R1T is still at the SC so I can't double check, and I also haven't messed with FM radio much, but I don't recall any way to modify this data. Typically that's provided by the station itself via RDS. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radio_Data_System Maybe it's not inaccurate. Music from my...
  19. Phone as a Key doesn’t work for women

Option A. Do a twirl. Option B. Stop, turn away from the R1S, bend over, give the toosh a smack. If timed properly, it should achieve decent comedic value as it unlocks.
  20. Arbitrary Limits on the Driver Screen Display

I can think of a few reasons. Too much on a display at once isn't safe nor desirable. If there's too much visual noise, people will generally just tune it out or get lost in it. Could be a method of prioritizing use of the CPU, saving cycles for more important things or maintaining a certain...
