Feature hasn’t been launched yet. I have a Gen 2 as well. There a few features I noticed that haven’t launched yet. Probably will launch with a software update this year. It’s called Apple Car Key, different than current setup with using phone as key.
Thanks everyone. In my situation, we have a second home on the Chesapeake bay. The cell service is basically not existent. My driveway is situated up a hill by the a shed with our charger. Since the vehicle relies on cell service or WiFi for me to check the charge on my app, it would be...
I’m having this issue with my gen 2. I’ve noticed those USB C ports also stop charging my phone when connected to a cord. Are you having that issue as well? I thought it was hardware but now that you’re saying it’s happening to you after the update I’m thinking it’s software now.
Hello, curious, is the center light bars flashing green supposed to stay on for the entirety of the vehicle charging on Gen 2? Mine turns off, seems like when I lock the car or a few minutes there after. I would have thought it would stay on for whole session. Perhaps I’m missing a setting or...
Anyone else having issues with USB-C outlets in the center console on Gen 2. Have gen 2 R1S and they’ve been working in and out intermittently. I know it had been an issue in previous version. Consequently the dash cam and charger won’t work. Resetting does the trick but then same issue with...
I have a gen 2 too. I didn’t ask but it seems there’s a few features not activated yet. Apple CarKey seems to be one. Also the fancy patterns that the hazard lights are suppose to make. I can only find the regular hazards for now. Google cast doesn’t seem to work yet either.
I took delivery of a gen 2 R1S yesterday. Never drove a gen 1 but it’s similar wireless charger to my previous Volvo XC40 recharge. My iPhone 15 max kept over heating, saying charging is stopped until it cools down, and it charges slow. Doesn’t compare to if it was MagSafe which charges much...
Took delivery yesterday. I’ve noticed that with the regen settings. Not sure if it’s suppose to save or default back. The manual states “moderate regen is standard for all drive modes except snow and soft sand”
Ordered a 2025 R1S Gen 2. Looking to get an SSD for the dash cam feature. Wondering what speed and size I should get now that the cameras have been significantly updated. Is 2TB overkill is size? Would 1050MB/s suffice?
