Try actually driving a Silverado EV. I had to take my R1T into the service center and got a Silverado EV as a rental.... in short, I could NOT WAIT to get my truck back.
The Silverado EV has terrible sight lines-- you can't see out very well. It was sluggish. The DRIVER'S SEAT DID NOT MOVE UP...

For this reason alone, it wouldn't make sense. Rivian wants to be able to control the navigation experience. Add waypoints based on charging, etc.
I hate to break it to you, but every single car model, if the manufacturer is doing it right, will improve and get better and get new features over time.
So I'm not sure what you would expect? Especially for a rapidly iterating nascent EV auto manufacturer.
