I'll take the Ford/Lincoln leather over the best pleather ever made or ever Will be made which will NEVER feel expensive.
That said, Expeditions are not luxury vehicles including my Limited model but my wife's Cayenne is which has high quality *real* leather.
Apparently, you missed this...
Pleather is NOT leather. My 2014 Ford Expedition *real* leather, cooled and heated seats, 4 *fixed* cupholders in center console (2 front/2 rear)+ 1 in each of the 4 doors (8 total!), dual zone climate controls, 7 seats, power running boards, a sun/moon roof that actually opens and can be...
Well, in Rivian's defense, it is targeted at the *adventure vehicle* crowd and not the minivan crowd. Perhaps their R2 lines will include a vehicle targeted at the minivan crowd in addition to the crossover crowd, since there is no other EV minivan on the market.
And, despite the price tag...
Did you get the *We’d love to hear about your first 30 days with your R1S* survey email from Rivan?
There were at least 20 questions about the center console, cup holders, and storage compartments alone, so they know it needs a re-design; unfortunately, too late for us, but such is life for...

Obviously, *to each their own* but if you want a minivan, then buy an minivan. Different classes though, so no one should even think of comparing them.
Also, anyone who asserts, "Nothing on earth has more occupant room than a good mini van" obviously has never driven a large 7-8 passenger...
Unfortunately, no longer made, but my Ford Excursion diesel was the GREATEST road trip SUV ever made w/ max passengers (8) + cargo capacity (147 cu. ft.)+ head/leg room + towing capacity (11k lbs) + range (800 mi).
FWIW, neither my wife nor I would be caught dead driving a minivan. ;-)...
Anecdotal evidence, but a guy who works in my building who preordered his R1S 3 months AFTER I preordered mine, changed his build and was given immediate access to a Guide and the Shop in March (3 months BEFORE mine!) where he grabbed a *nearly* identical build to mine EXCEPT that it had 22"...
So, the ride difference between the R1T and R1S may also be highly dependent upon the difference in wheel base length which obviously isn't going to change.
I just was asking about your previous truck experience since RJ at one point mentioned that 70% of new Rivian owners had never owned a...
Looks like I have the identical R1S build except for my Black Mountain + Dark Ash Wood interior. I picked mine up exactly 5 weeks ago today and have 3,300+ miles on it.
It's funny how reviews can be very different depending upon individuals previous experiences, current lifestyle, and...
Without government legislation/regulation change, I seriously doubt the EV manufacturers would change their trend, since increasing revenue rather than expenses is their highest priority.
FWIW, there's always the portable am radio option, and If they would put an outlet in the center console...
Most major AM radio stations either simulcast on FM as well. FWIW, the only AM station that I listen to on a regular basis that's not also available via FM is available on TuneIn Radio which is available via the Rivian enfotainment system.
FWIW, I didn't see what Rivian would offer but I did try the local Audi dealer, CarMax, and Carvana and both the dealer and Carvana low-balled me below the Kelly Blue Book range (Carvana the lowest by far) while Carmax came in the middle of the range.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I though the Sirius/XM mobile app like the Spotify app and many others lets you cache as many songs/playlists as your microSD card (512g) can hold, no?
Also, the Sirius/XM app has a LOT more channels available than any of the in-auto receivers that I've ever owned...
No assumptions. My comment was the result of apathetic comments made by several specific individuals here where as yours was based upon only my specific usage of sheeple while ignoring the other *worn out, passive aggressive insults* that prompted my response.
