My R1S w/ 22" wheels in sport mode w/ lowest ride height gives me a 285 mi range when charged 100%. I have a 100+ mile daily (6 days/wk) commute. If I were to charge only to 70% or 80%, that would only give me a 200 or 228 mile range and I'd have to plug in daily or if every other day, face...

I only have had to call in once so far, but after 30 mins on hold I tried chat instead and only had to wait 10 mins so I hung up. So far I've used chat 2-3 times and have found support a lot more responsive than that one call. YMMV

From where did you order them? It's on my *to do* list. FWIW, I've been going to that Firestone 17+ years and let's just say in and out in 20 mins is an anomaly. ;-)

I picked up my R1S 8 days ago. After reading all the issues posted on theses forums, I had my wife go over it w/ a fine-toothed comb at pickup, since after 27+ months I knew I'd be too *giddy* to be objective. ;-) She only found 2 minor paint touch-up spots that I didn't see which were touched...

As far as I can tell there's no rhyme nor reason of who gets access and when to the Shop. I preordered my R1S 3/21 and a guy that works in my same building got access to the Shop 3 months BEFORE me even though he preordered his 3 months AFTER me. And, we are in the same Capitol Heights, MD SC...

Oh one more thing. The Service Center rep said my R1S was already there and was to be final inspected but then Monday came and she said it actually was *almost* there but ended up there cob Monday and then final inspected on Tuesday in plenty of time.

I grabbed one from the shop on a Wednesday evening and then Thursday-Friday reached out to Rivian support for questions about financing, insurance, etc. and then applied for financing through 1) Rivian (Chase), 2) my credit union, and 3) BoA for whom I just paid off 2+ years early an auto loan...

I got shop access, about 10 days later I grabbed one from the shop, then about a week later after I had already set up a pickup date my guide reached out to me since she was apparently on vacation for TWO WEEKS; however, there's like a pool of *on call* guides if you reach out via chat support...

Picked up my R1S from Capitol Heights SC today. I asked them what the deal was w/ Gaithersburg SC. Apparently, The People's Republic of Montgomery Co. permit komrads preliminarily gave approval for opening it but the SAME exact komrads then denied it during final inspection for whatever reason...

Figures. I pick up this Friday.

I definitely intend to enjoy the R1S but I've spent the past year or so trying to de-Google/de-Apple my household due to major data privacy issues which were definitely amplified by the mandatory data consent clause in the Rivian purchase agreement where there was no opt-out but those threads...

So, just got blindsided the day before I'm to pick up my R1S that I can't download the Rivian app since it's not supported on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which apparently is running Android 9. SMH It would have been nice to know the minimum Android version required in the actual Rivian app...

Well, if you're in Alexandra, VA then you're much closer than I am ~70 miles from Capitol Heights.

Well, considering just got access to the shop last week and still haven't heard from my Guide since she's out of office until Monday, all bets are off AFAIC. ;-)

I assumed the same thing until I received a text saying, " We would love to schedule your pickup as soon as June 15th."

So much for the Gaithersburg SC opening *soon*. I just got a text that I will be picking up my R1S as early as 15 June at the Capitol Heights SC. Anyone have the address for Rivian Capitol Heights SC?
