So my first mile was on the 22's. I just took delivery and it's equipped with the 20's.
First impression on the 22's was they felt sporty. However in low ride height you'd better dodge potholes. I hit one on the first mile and it bottomed the suspension out and felt and sounded horrible...
Hi delivery day brother. Just took delivery today at 10am. Just got home from a crazy day and I can't stop smiling. This truck gets looks from everyone, almost too many.
Such a well build fun to drive truck!
What I realized is the guides are not local and are really not there to help with the ETA of delivery. Their speciality is getting you through the 8 steps then a customer service roll after you purchase.
Mine had a ballpark when it would arrive via train. No real experience with about how...
I second opening up the search for a Tesla destination charger with the lectron adapter. Also don't forget to check the route for an RV park as a last resort.
Man mine was supposed to be in El Segundo on the 16th. No update. I'm guessing if they just unloaded Costa Mesa El Segundo is next.
How long from when it arrived to scheduling delivery? I'm hoping by Saturday I can pick it up!
Seems like they are building them quickly, on Aug 26th I received my 8 steps and had a 108xx VIN. That's about 500 built a week plus whatever the R1S numbers add to this.
Mine is shipping by rail and could land at the service center as early as tomorrow with delivery next week. El Segundo.
Glad I'm not the only one reaching out to the guide. Mine is scheduled to arrive around the 16th. But no clue when I can take delivery. Some of us will need to plan on taking time off work to pick it up mid week.
Haven't scheduled it yet. I've had one contact with my Guide and he said it will arrive around the 16th.
I finished steps 1-6 then emailed him for an ETA once I had the VIN. Took a week to get back to me with that info. Said he would reach back out once he has a date.
