  1. A2Z NACS To CCS1 Adapter Review

Not that they need another shoutout, but I was really impressed by my interactions with @A2ZEV. I ordered the Typhoon Adaptor on 3/13 at the full price after seeing a post here. I read a day or so later that they had a promo for Rivian owners. I sent a note asking if I could get the discount and...
  2. RAN Rivian Charging Stations Locations Map via Google Maps

Pure speculation below: I agree that it is a disappointing pace, but if I think there are two big reasons to slow roll (no pun intended) right now - NEVI funding and the Tesla Supercharger network. I would be trying to grab NEVI funds for every charger I had plans to build. I don't know how...
  3. Which magsafe charger would you get?

I have the Soonish charger in my truck and love the aesthetic and I have the Riviparts in the R1S and like the functionality better. Riviparts/Open EV
  4. Powered Tonneau Cover Appears to be Back on New R1T Builds!

It looks like it. I saw 11 in the R1T shop just now. And the Powered Tonneau is one of the filters.
  5. Ford NACS Adapter Released + Access to Tesla Superchargers Now Available

SuperChargers Open to NACS and Other EVs Looks like Tesla has opened up their network to support the adapter.
  6. Are Rivians being built with NACS plugs yet? Any NACS adapter plug recommendations?

I think that's a very relevant point. I keep an adapter in the Tesla to use CCS if necessary.
  7. RAN Rivian Charging Stations Locations Map via Google Maps

I agree. I live in this area and it makes absolutely no sense to me. Yuma and the Golden Acorn Casino - both off I-8 - make sense. Great adventure terrain around both of those areas and they're right off the southern most US Interstate.
  8. Aloha, Rivian R1S ?️! -- Transporting Rivian from Phoenix, AZ to Kailua Kona, HI

Sorry to see your red Rivian headed to Hawaii. It is very recognizable here.
  9. Aloha, Rivian R1S ?️! -- Transporting Rivian from Phoenix, AZ to Kailua Kona, HI

Charity was not that good to me when I used her two weeks ago! Had to call to initiate the charge and she booted me after 7 minutes when I used her on the way home!
  10. Questions after test drive, current owners please help!

For your use, I'd recommend the six seat X. I added running boards to my R1S to help my 81 year old 5' mother get in and out of my vehicle. She loves the running boards, I hate them as I'm always sliding the back of my leg down them when I exit the vehicle. I loved my X while my kids couldn't...
  11. RAN Rivian Charging Stations Locations Map via Google Maps

Was in the neighborhood again and stopped by this site. Pedestals are set, cabinets are set, and transformer pad is set. Just waiting on a transformer.
  12. RAN Charging Costs are now live! (at certain stations)

All of the AZ RAN locations are $.36/kWh as well. Very reasonable.
  13. Is it me, or has the charging situation dramatically improved over the last ~6 months?

I'm a big critic of DCFC and my anecdotal experiences are much better. Two RAN stations have helped (Gila Bend & Quartzite), but EA has been noticeably better on I-8 & I-10 imho.

    State 48 Rivians

@shrink Had the running boards installed yesterday. As you mentioned, the guys were great. Super little camping/off roading shop. They will be a "Goto" shop for me in the future. Can't thank you enough for the recommendation!
