My daughter did it last month in the R1T on the AS tires. Said it was a piece of cake. They were up there for hours. No issues. I don't remember if she stopped at the EA chargers in New River on her way up or down, but it was a one charge stop trip.

I could be all wet, but I've always thought that it would make sense to put chargers at dealerships as a way to get drivers of other makes and models into see the dealership's offerings. Have a coffee/juice bar and clean bathrooms.

I had this problem with a Lectron adapter after about 5 months of use. Switched to TeslaTap and haven't had an issue since. In the 5th month with the TeslaTap now. We'll see what happens.
It appears that all of the post-March orders are required to select the "Off Road Package" if you want off road tires and that package includes the underbody and compact spare. It's as though they are building in bulk only for post-March off road orders.
I've been driving EV's for 6 or so years now and everything mentioned above is spot on. I would also add that time of day matters as well.
The only other thing I'd recommend is to have flexibility and enjoy the ride as much as your destination. It took me a couple of trips to get that mindset...
