Rivian is aware of the issue and working to resolve in a future update.
My original post was comparing my Rivians with my previous EVās, the Teslas. I certainly was not comparing to my previous MBās or Jaguarās. I find my R1T completely luxurious in the segment that it serves, the EV pickup market. Similarly, my R1S compares favorably to my wifeās previous Yukon...
I thought that I should share my thoughts on ownership of my 2022 LE R1T and 2023 LE R1S after benefiting from so many other stories on this forum. First, my journey. I preordered my R1T several years ago when first learning about Rivian. I was driving my first EV at the time, a Chevy Malibu...
My service ticket was escalated to the charging team yesterday for this issue. They emailed me today that they are aware of the issue and they are working to address it in a future update.
Both my R1T and R1S are doing this. I could only cast 1 vote so I voted for R1T. R1T is in latest software and R1S was not. Both work fine with the mobile charger. Iāve opened a case with Rivian charging team.
I added an R1S for my wife 3 weeks ago along with my 1 year old R1T. The R1T was dead on at 70% charge on the mobile charger even after recent updates. However, I added the Rivian wall charger 2 weeks ago and both vehicles only charge to 68% while set at 70%. More troubling, they donāt restart...
I have checked it both immediately after charging and the next morning. Same result with both, although the next morning could be even lower due to vampire loss. I probably wouldnāt be as concerned if it fluctuated from 68-72% like Silverll but mine always stops 2% low. Plus it doesnāt seem to...
Iāve had my R1T for over a year and recently added an R1S for my wife. Iāve used the mobile charger with a NEMA 14-50 outlet on both vehicles and it works perfectly. Last week I changed the circuit out for a Rivian wall charger and 60amp breaker. It charges fine except that it stops about 2%...
So just to be clear, I want to use Apple OEM MagSafe chargers with your pad. I just ordered a stained walnut pad (to match my black interior) without pucks. You slightly buff the finish to take the sheen off. I am going to order 2 MagSafe adapters from Apple. I do not need the USB adaptors as...
I am on my third windshield on my R1T In 10 months. Since I live almost 2 hours away from the nearest SC I had my tint/PPF vendor install glass protection film on the exterior of the windshield. After 1 month it has absorbed 2 rocks with only a little nick in the film. Like others have...
I have a dent on the rear of my R1T (just below top cap and above brake light) and need to remove the rear panel of the tailgate for paintless dent repair. I removed the 4 screws at the bottom of the black panel but it seems to be locked in with the top cap. Anyone have experience removing the...
I have only used Tidal from the screen. I have not tried with Alexa due to the overall instability of it. And yes, you are correct that it didnāt work properly when I tried it. However, Tidal is my current preferred music source (even without Alexa).
I have been using Tidal in both my Rivian R1T and Tesla Model Y after their last updates. Works flawlessly in both. I have gone from mainly Spotify/Amazon in the R1T to Tidal. Tidal appears to be more stable and reliable then Amazon.
Not sure if itās the same issue but I live in Florida and every time the temperature would drop below 40 degrees the door would get stuck and not fully push out to open when using the contact switch. Every time mobile tech would come out, temps rose and no issue. The tech felt it could be the...
Yes, it is consistent. Usually shows 14.5 mph in app vs 12.5 with Rivian mobile charger. The Rivian charger has been in my frunk since I received the Lectron adapter.
I have been using the Lectron adapter since May. Works flawlessly. My wife has a Tesla Y and I use the Tesla mobile charger (using the Lectron adapter on the Rivian) to charge both vehicles. The Tesla mobile yields a couple more mph charge than my Rivian mobile charger.
The mobile tech fixed this issue and the recall at the same time. The only noise that I am left with is the normal āclickingā when pressing/releasing accelerator. Tech said that was the drive units engaging/disengaging. All good so far.
