One critical step was missing (stumbled on it after too much time): once the shortcut app is open, go to the bottom of the screen and pick the middle option for automations. If you stay in the shortcut section, you will go nuts trying to set this up and mirror the excellent example posted.

Hard reset times two did not fix it either

Join the club Mine happens only when it’s been sitting outside in the heat. In the morning when it’s cooler, it does not happen. Mine is at the Rivian service center right now trying to be fixed.

My quirky update changes include crazy dash displays when temp is above 100F. Certain portions of dash seem to freeze their display. Thank God the truck has not bricked. First drive in AM does not have problem. Tried two separate hard resets 24 hrs apart. See pics. Anyone else?

I have never seen "warm plug" until I picked up my R1T from the svc ctr, sitting on their charger. After taking one month to replace a door with a bad factory seal causing loud squeaking, the door was fine but now charging is not. Does this mean everyone with this issue needs a new charging plug...
