That was the YouTube hookup.
When I had Shop access for the T it was made extremely clear to me by multiple Guides I would not be getting access to LEs even though my reservation dated to when LEs were still available to configure (I was originally a Max pack configuration).
This is interesting to me and smacks of problems hitting numbers. For the Ts it was very clear ONLY LE preorders could see LE configs in the Shop. Only reason Rivian would open up LE Ss to anyone would be to try and move vehicles quicker.
I have a similar (though slightly worse) self-inflicted injury on my truck. Still very driveable. However, it's been sitting in the only Atl area Rivian certified collision center for over a month now waiting for parts. My insurance company (nationwide) has already agreed to the payment /...
My truck hasn't had a functional PAAK for the last few updates / months. I have an android and I've heard from several different CS reps there are known issues with the android app. Many threads on this forum about this.
Agree the smart driving features are trash, though getting slightly...
When I had access for the T there were routine larger midweek drops, with a few cars popping up randomly on other days.
Extremely location dependent on how much you see.
I made two reservations, one for a T back on 8/20, and one for an S on 4/21. Got T shop access last June but waited two months and just got what I wanted. At that time I got access before a lot of people with earlier reservations, based largely on proximity to SC (~10 miles). Obviously certain...
Simplest explanation is Rivian has run through their backlog of Ts. All the Ts from here on will be either made to order or Dual motor?
Edit: I count this as BAD news because that means their demand must be decreasing earlier than I (and wall street) expected.
This argument doesn't apply to medical training. Medical training is so many years (in my case 8 years post-college) because thats how long it takes to gain the textbook and experiential knowledge to take good care of patients.
Given the ever increasing quantity of data we are expected to...
At no point did this ever happen with the R1Ts in the Shop. They started batching early last year and just released what didn't match an early order to the Shop. Much more palatable to buyers than Rivian potentially fulfilling orders from 2021 when 2018 orders are still waiting.
As this thread is all over the place, I'm also going to take this opportunity to complain about kids these days. However, it will be in the context of working in medicine.
Things in the training of future physicians right now that I find bonkers:
- Many medical students get one mental health...
I also vote for dumb cruise control. I've turned off pretty much all the features I can such as LKA because they are frustrating. Agree there is still too frequent phantom braking.
I had a conversation with a CS representative about how crappy the PAAK is for Androids and he said (I'm paraphrasing) that they had put much less time into the Android app than the Apple app.
I think it was something to the tune of "I've noticed a lot of customers lately with Android PAAK...
This has been an ongoing problem for many android users like myself. It is not a new problem related to the most recent update. The PAAK functionality for my Android is 1/2 functional at best.
I've found waking the truck too close to when I want to drive (to heat it, etc) most consistently...
