I assume you mean you unplugged both 12V batteries? In theory this would be the best as vampire loss should be nearly 0 as the truck shouldn't be doing it's normal parasitic drain stuff. Last I heard the tech had to do a special reset on site when the 12v batteries died though, I guess this is...
Zfold4, ever since nce android 13 update a month or two ago it's been horrible. It was okay before but wouldnstill require me to open the app sometimes. Now I reboot my phone to make it work. My Garmin watch disconnects too.
For a truck, it's fantastic. It's actually enjoyable to drive fast through twisties. Source: have owned NSX, s2000, Miata ND, MR2, Camaro SS, tundra, Tacoma, Xterra, raced motorcycles.
Looking at my max pack order r1t (and r1s order) I see no place to allow me to switch from quad. Obviously the email said the quad max isn't existing for a long time if ever and that we could change to dual but I'm not seeing a way to do that.
Suspension won't change height. It has been pretty cold recently (started at mid teens). I've driven it in colder temps without this issue before. Hard reset doesn't fix it. It seems to work for a minute or two before the lights come on after it's sat. Anyone with same experience?
I spent a few hours on this. Apparently there are different versions of home assistant, the one I got in docker didn't have addon support. Adding hacs I couldn't figure out as it seems to require ssh access but to the docker, not the NAS itself. At that point I said screw it, too many...
Connect a battery or other 12v source to the jump leads, this gives power to be able to open hood and doors on left side. The jump wires go through a controller so a smart charger or jump pack don't work.
Rivian seems to be aggressive about battery temps. We had multiple days of temps about -10 below. The cab temp was always about +10 so I would guess a lot of energy is spent keeping the batteries at a higher temp.
While it also got a lot colder (8deg) snow mode feels much more stable and less squirrley. Now it's confidence inspiring whereas before it was butt clenching. Wish I had driven it just before the update to really compare, maybe the snow is grippier today.
Far too often people and vehicles are swept downstream when water goes over roads like this. Moving water is incredibly powerful, it can also erode the road bed very quickly leading to section of the road missing you don't know about. There is a reason for the saying "turn around don't drown"...
Looks like you missed the part where I describe this is my driveway that I've taken for over 10 years and lots of vehicles, never experienced the lack of traction availability like in this one.
Often conditions have been much worse than what I experienced today, including ice pack.
