Some great news on the referrals. A new member here discovered that Rivian is now allowing referral codes on custom orders (despite not updating the terms on their website). I'll confirm here after both of us have our rewards and charging post to our accounts...
Our mid-January build Tri is subject to this recall. Anyone know where the headlight control module is buried? Just wondering how much dismantling is involved for the replacement.
Pretty sure the phone touching the handle is just activating the sensor same as if you touched it with your finger. For IPhone NFC to work on our Ioniq 5 the keycard has to be added to Apple Wallet. It’s an IOS limitation.
So if you have Bluetooth turned off on your phone your 14 pro will unlock your doors if you touch the phone to the locked driver's handle? Any chance your have an Apple Watch with WAAK on it?
Please let us know what accessibility settings you are using on your truck. Thanks.
Actually if your were going get a color other than LA silver and a premium interior the Dune is the way to go if you like the color. $500 to $1,000 cheaper and the all terrain and accessories are free.
We may have gone this route if it was available at the time and got a set of 22's or 21's...
Do you have this working with Android or iPhone. Tried it this morning with no luck. G2 R1S Tri on latest software and latest Rivian app. Proximity lock on set to lock only when home. Turn BT off on my 16 Pro and nothing happens when I touch the phone to the drive's door handle. What am I...
Bought an RV in Louisville last summer and pulled it back to KC with my Lightning. Can't remember if it was Kentucky or Indiana but some of the EA chargers were by the minute and charging was dirt cheap.
We placed our order on 1-21-25 and I checked my account today and was pleasantly surprised to see a complimentary NACS adapter order was placed on 2-14-25. I already have an adapter for our Lightning but it will be nice to have the official "Rivian" one in case we ever have a warranty related...
EVSportline tech got back to me. They said their MagSafe charger only draws .3 watts when not charging and would take 50 years to drain the truck. I'm guessing they started including the blackout ring because it never turns off. So I'm not going to worry about it but I will unplug the adapter...
Thanks. That's what I assumed. Now I'm wondering if we get an R3 in three years if my wife can be the owner of the vehicle and use her own referrals to get free RAN charging.
Didn't trade anything in and it's our first Rivian. Used a referral code for purchase and have since had two people use my code. So we have 18 months of RAN charging and hope to get more.
I always find it funny that a lot of EV drivers assume nobody uses DCFCs because they don't. We road...
So the free RAN charging you get with referrals is capped at 3 years. I read the fine print and I think it's 3 years no matter how many new Rivians you buy. Anyone know for sure?
