I'll do some testing this summer. Our front windows and windshield have XPel on them so I'll do a simple test with it on and off, of course cooling down the truck before each test.

Sounds like the R1s either G1 or G2 don't like being parked outside in the winter. If Rivian doesn't make some progress on this I think the only solution is to keep it on a battery tender.

It's crazy that Rivain can't figure this out. Our Ioniq 5 gets left at home a lot, sometimes as long as a month unplugged. After about 2 days it goes into a deep sleep mode and doesn't drain at all. Of course it has crappy software and no fun features.

So I let our G2 sleep overnight and checked it this morning without my phone or watch. MagSafe charger didn't turn off. So it's either the adapter isn't working properly or the truck's OBD2 port isn't sending the sleep signal.

Thanks for the reply. So on your Gen1 using the Soche OBDII adapter for your Valentine it will power off 15ish minutes after the truck goes to sleep? Just trying to figure out if my issue is with the adapter Evsportline sent or if the Gen2 isn't sending the sleep signal out the OBDII port.

Can someone explain to me what "70mph range added means"? Is this the vehicle stating the amount of miles added at a given charge time based on driving speed and conditions before arriving at the charger. 113 miles after 20 minutes doesn't seem all that impressive.
