Gear guard is always off. The truck is parked where it doesn't have WiFi access. I always turn off the climate control when I park it. I turn off the sound system. Proximity unlock is off - and I shut the phone app when I get home. The truck is dead silent when I'm by it. Not sure what else there is to turn off. I've been tracking SoC twice daily as a function of ambient temperatures. Battery drain is intermittent. It will sit for a couple days with minimal losses, and then it will start shedding 4-5%/day. The 13% in 14 hours was the most extreme example. I wouldn't say that the Ioniq and Sienna are complete bricks. If I open their apps, I can talk with both vehicles. And then they go back to sleep, even if the app is open on my phone. It's not live-stream, but I don't need my R1T to whisper to me in my sleep. I need to have the confidence that if I park it for a few days, when I come back to it, it will still have the charge I need to get me to where I was planning to go when I parked it. It would also be nice if it would L2 charge above 85% in a reasonable amount of time.

Sounds like the R1s either G1 or G2 don't like being parked outside in the winter. If Rivian doesn't make some progress on this I think the only solution is to keep it on a battery tender.
