  1. OTA 2023.50.01 Software is Out! (w/ departure & preconditioning scheduling)!

I reached out to Rivian and reported the "bug." Hopefully they fix it in the next software release.
  2. Software Update 2023.50 -- Scheduled battery preconditioning & other useful improvements!

Ya, hopefully it's a simple fix. The extreme cold has passed here as well. Morning temps are still in the low teens but the below zero extremes have passed. It's even supposed to rain next week! For now I'll just keep manually heating the truck from the app before I leave. Not a real problem.
  3. Software Update 2023.50 -- Scheduled battery preconditioning & other useful improvements!

Perhaps it's buggy? I've tried a variety of different heat settings including 72 and 73 degrees. I think I may try turning off pulling power from the charger tomorrow and see if that does anything.
  4. Software Update 2023.50 -- Scheduled battery preconditioning & other useful improvements!

Anyone else having issues with the scheduled pre-conditioning not working? My latest attempt at setting a morning departure time didn't do anything again. Interestingly I added one yesterday afternoon before leaving work and that one worked fine. It's the morning departure time that fails.

    @bd5400 makes sense.
  6. Software Update 2023.50 -- Scheduled battery preconditioning & other useful improvements!

I'll try to setup a new one for this afternoon before I leave work and see if that one functions. No clue why my morning schedule isn't working.
  7. Software Update 2023.50 -- Scheduled battery preconditioning & other useful improvements!

Did you set up a single day schedule? Or multiple days? I had mine setup for the 5 weekdays and I'm not sure if that mattered.
  8. Software Update 2023.50 -- Scheduled battery preconditioning & other useful improvements!

For some reason the vehicle pre-conditioning on a schedule seems to be bugged for me. The past few mornings it's been set for 6:55 am (72 degrees, seat & wheel heater). It doesn't seem to turn the climate control on at all. The cabin was at -3 this morning at 6:55. I park outdoors and the truck...

I've been trying to find notes from the meeting online, but no luck. Any idea how it went?
  10. Bloomington, IL Charging. What gives?

Did the drive from MKE to STL and back over the New Year's holiday weekend. We stopped in Bloomington at the EA. It worked but would have been nice to have stopped at Rivian instead!

Hopefully it goes through this time. Otherwise I'd suggest Glendale :)

I thought the service center was rejected by the village council? Are they looking at it again?

It looks great! Thank you for sharing the files.

    That’s great news
  15. Dual Motor Lag

When starting from a full stop both motors always engage. I don't notice any lag, but I'm also not specifically looking for one. Essentially if it's there it's so minor it's never an issue for me. You can hear the rear motor disconnecting if you listen specifically for it. It's subtle and I...
  16. Dual Motor Lag

I can't speak to the R1S as I have the dual R1T. I don't notice any lag in acceleration. The truck is plenty fast. If you fully depress the accelerator you will find yourself significantly over the speed limit very quickly. The truck is also very stable at high speed. It's easy to find yourself...
  17. Wisconsin Rivian Club

I have a dual motor r1t and I see similar behavior but the efficiency typically improves as I drive. That said it usually doesn't take 20 minutes. For example, this morning, after around 5-10 minutes the efficiency improved to over 2.0 miles/kwh while highway driving (~60 mph). All I did this...
  18. Attention new dual motor owners! Any issues??

I've had my dual motor R1T since late September and haven't had any issues that couldn't be solved by resetting the UI or truck. 5k miles so far and the truck has been great.
  19. Wisconsin Rivian Club

The drive went smoothly. Only had one issue with one station where it derated due to plug temp. However that was on a 150 kw unit when all the 350s where occupied. The truck could have made it from MKE to STL with one stop from 100% charge (in Bloomington) but we opted for a second short...

Thank you. It sounds like the EA in Normal worked well?
