Here’s a great video that outlines why, objectively, this really is a problem. It highlights Hyundai/Kia but applies to most EVs, though some are slightly better than others.

Maybe 96% I definitely agree with that principle on the rivian. I’m used to the Taycans charging curve so I rip it and go as far as I can (in out of spec style).

Just got our R1S back from the SC and they said the same - was “overcharged”. I’ve never met an AC technician that told me the charge was just right. It’s always over or under - I think it’s a conspiracy! ?
