  1. Carfax does not show any of the Service Center visits

Partially true.....they are mostly inaccurate....but the reports cost about $40. Most dealerships provide them (probably with a bulk discount rate) for "free" when you're looking.....but I agree that the accuracy is highly questionable.
  2. Alexa voice commands that work for me (updated with official full list)

You can use it in the truck just fine with the the wake word disabled so it is not “always listening”. Long hold of the right steering wheel button (instead of wake word) for those that want both, “Alexa” functionality, and privacy
  3. End of Lease

The lease contract spells out the deal. You don’t have the option to alter it. Your options are to end the lease by returning the truck per the agreement, or buy it out per the agreement . If $45k is the residual, then at the end of the lease, your option is to pay $45k, plus any fees...
  4. Dual Performance Upgrade?

The simple answer is that the “performance” upgrade via software is (planned) to be coming but is not yet available so neither a buyer nor a service center can perform the upgrade. Either wait until you find the vehicle you want or (try to) have faith that the software upgrade is forthcoming sOOn
  5. Class action suit against Rivian

I don’t think they need to upgrade the hardware to change the navigation software to use an alternative like Google or Waze….its all software based aside from the vehicle location/GPS. Out of the things to be potentially concerned about, this is not one
  6. Rivian NACS Adapters begin arriving!

They’ve said multiple times it’s (roughly) based on delivery date. In some, but not all cases the VIN corresponds. It’s much more useful/accurate to post and base expectations on delivery date
  7. Falken Wildpeak AT4W tires installed (LT275/65/20)

Awesome! I’m doing the same. I had the Falkens on my previous vehicle (Tundra) and they were great. I have 30k miles on the OEM Scorpions which have been droning since about 8k…..I expect to get ~5kish out of them before they have to go…
  8. How are you solving the Jack height problem?

Did you set the vehicle to its lowest suspension setting per the owners manual?
  9. Tesla charging membership

Sometimes you just have to “read the directions”. It’s published information that for the Tesla membership, you have to initiate through the app (to access the membership pricing benefit). While it might be more convenient if Rivian was able to enable PNC, this may be something Tesla won’t...
  10. The "courtesy inspection" on the invoice could be total fiction

Yeah….they attempted to charge me $80 for the “courtesy inspection” that goes with the wheel rotation. I questioned why there would be an $80 charge for something listed as “courtesy” which was also not a approved (by me) service request and nobody could explain…long story, but I cancelled and...
  11. 2024.27 Software Update Gets Apple Music, Audible, Power Outlet Improvements

While that’s a good idea….it is more likely than not, that connect plus is free for 60 days (from the release) and it from when you download it..::so if there are never features you will use then it won’t matter because you won’t purchase….but if there are, you probably won’t get a 60 day window...
  12. Does anyone else find the new side camera views distracting and useless?

I also don’t like them. I find them distracting and potentially dangerous. I didn’t like it when Telsa did it either (arguably more dangerous because they put the image on the center screen)…:I simply turned it off in the settings …
  13. When is the next software update? Any info on this?

Yes…mine can’t seem to remember whether only front or front and back vents were on and seems 50/50 on outside air vs recirc. That said, the vents that do come on, are now pointing in the same direction they were set to ?
  14. Total piece of JUNK. Leased exactly one month ago. Within a day started AC that will not work. Towed and took 1 week to repair.

This is true and OP should contact a lemon law lawyer in his/her state as the law varies by State…although depending on OPs tolerance level, maybe give Rivian a chance to “make it right” somehow
  15. Tire damage: fatal?

Seems like the answer is pretty obvious…..you can’t drive on that except maybe around the corner to a tire shop…:
  16. Charging Not at Home (Help Please!)

Pick up an A2Z NACS adapter if you want to use Telsa superchargers. I have had zero issues with EA, ChargePoint and EVGO. i have found it best (read “easiest”) to use PlugShare to locate and compare available chargers, then navigate directly to them. I have not yet tried navigating with ABRP...
  17. Key fob no longer standard?

What non-refundable deposit did you place? The deposits are relatively small and 100% refundable until you confirm configuration at which point you should know whether a fob is part of the purchase
  18. R1T Gen1 Depleted? What does this mean for 20% voucher holders

Certainly you are at least a "victim" of your own self importance, indecisiveness and insecurity.....Good for you though....you make yourself sound very important and super-duper.
  19. Rivian CEO says Apple CarPlay isn’t going to happen…

its not "news"....they've been saying it for several years now....
  20. 7,500 Mile Service Check

What they did was charge you an extra fee for the nonsense inspection ($80-$100 in addition to the tire rotation) is what they had told me before I cancelled and rotated the tires myself
