I am curious about people's experience with the 7,500 service. I just had mine (just under 9,000 miles). I had scheduled it about. a month ago, and had it done at the Atlanta Service Center. They did offer to come do it remote but I had to have the windshield replace as well, so I needed to take it in for that. I recall reading some reports that sounded impressive on other random threads here. I recall reading some reports of service finding things and repairing or even upgrading things that the driver didn't realize were issues. I recall reading a report of someone getting an upgrade to the center counsel charing platform. That was not my experience. The service appointment was scheduled about a month in advance and took two days to complete. I had them rotate the tires as well.

Ultimately I have no idea what they did. There is no report that comes with the service work.. I would expect some kind of detail on what the "Multi-Point Inspection" entailed and confirmation that everything checked out... but nothing. I read of some people having minor issues fixed with trim and the like... but. nothing. I have a couple of plastic parts that have come off in the back seat and a few places where the rubber seals are coming loose... they didn't touch any of that. When we picked up the car, it was not cleaned or vacuumed... which seems to be pretty basic service touch. ... but nada. No report, no info, no comments, no simple service touch... no nothing. What has been other's experiences?

What they did was charge you an extra fee for the nonsense inspection ($80-$100 in addition to the tire rotation) is what they had told me before I cancelled and rotated the tires myself

It would be nice to know what fasteners Rivian feels are important to check every 7500 miles and then to what torque value.

I have an Audi in the shop this week for a few things as well. Their service communication is so much more thorough... including a video of all the things they checked and the status of them. Just seems like a missed opportunity to demonstrate a higher level, or more comprehensive level of service. I guess demonstrates more room to grow/improve. Also seems from what I have read on other threads that the level of service at various service centers varies a lot.

You should have been emailed a service report that lists the details and measurements. Its generated as the ticket is closed.

I'm at 32,000 miles, and Rivian service hasn't seen my R1T yet. I'm modestly worried that I may be needing something done, but not so worried that I need to go through the trouble of making a service appointment.
