I liked the sound of Apple Music better but the lack of control has me trying out my daughter's paid spotify account. Tesla has native Apple Music integration but its buggy and the lack of native integration in the Rivian means i'll probably switch. So far the sound isn't bad in spotify just a...
Yes its an option in the truck, see this screen:
Havent decided if I like it yet as both the Rivian and the Tesla keep waking up when I walk into the garage. And the Rivian is very chirpy. The Tesla is at least quiet about it.
The only way I can get mine to close is to climb into the bed and kneel over it and press hard quick on both sides. Otherwise I can only get one side or the other to latch. Its pretty terrible so i'll track it as an issue with my guide.
Yesterday I drove up to Okemo in Ludlow, VT from MA for some skiing. On the way home I had the truck auto-recommend a charger. It was pretty far away and I had looked previously and found a closer one here: https://www.plugshare.com/location/326373
I ended up driving to that one, and not only...
I got it last night (day 2 of owning the R1T). The 75 minute warning plus the doors may not lock/unlock was concerning. It applied a lot faster but I don't like the fact you cant lock/unlock the doors when its updating. Tesla does not have that limitation. Not the end of the world but still...
Got my truck today. Looking forward to the @evsportline cover that I ordered. Will be a great addition!
Tested out the entry/exit for the height challenged family members, definitely need a step so deciding on that next.
Thank you. For #4, phone favorites, I have people favorited, but I see no list of favorites or anything to "speed dial" in the Rivian phone app. Is that just expected at this point?
Just took delivery this am (I know why aren't I out driving? Sadly had to work). Got a Limestone R1T delivered at the Chelsea MA service center. The truck was in amazing shape (i've taken delivery of 2 Tesla Model S's previously and this build quality was much better). Truck is amazing, exceeds...
I’m doing Opticoat Pro Plus on Monday here in MA. I did it on my 2 Teslas and was very happy with it. My current S is 4.5 years old and still looks great with a simple wash. A few rock chips if you look close but nothing that bothers me. $1,800 for the R1T and they need it for just 2 days. Drop...
Great thread. I’m taking delivery of a Limestone R1T Thursday but with the black mountain interior and 20” wheels. I’ve never seen the Limestone in person and have been a bit nervous about it. We did the first mile in a white one which we loved but like every other car is white.
I have a Model...
Im in sort of the same boat on the handy side of things. I've been watching the evsportline ones more as they claim the rock sliders (not out yet) will not require cutting/plugging things.
I dont really need rock sliders, but I do need a step for my height challenged family members and i'd...
Great thread. Taking that panel off and looking in there was one of the things I wanted to do early on when I get my truck, saved me the time. While outside access would be nice, what about just making the inside panel flap down so you can get to it when the bed is open and store things?
if Tesla opens up a lot more then it would make more sense to pay $12.99 for something that is more available and more reliable than saving money on something that's hard to find and unreliable. That's the direction its heading unless EA gets its butt in gear.
East coast probably not too bad an issue, i've never hit a full one. West coast I imagine it wouldnt be fun. It sounds like its already a struggle at times.
