Yeah happens a lot with them. Generally its a false alarm but they dont seem interested in fixing it. Note that they didnt do the API to the Rivian, they use a third party.

My truck unlocks while i'm mowing the backyard near-ish to the garage. From my perspective the range is too far. On the other hand it can be oddly sluggish at times even when i'm right next to the truck.

Other than killing/limiting the app there's no real way for the truck to know which PaaK is the one in the drivers seat.
