I've been using the Lectron with a Gen 3 Tesla HPWC since Sept '23. No issues. If I was in the market for a new wall connector I'd probably go with the Tesla Universal one, but this setup with the Lectron is serving me fine at the moment.

The problem with free DC fast charging (not just RAN) is that it encourages people who live near them to charge there often instead of at home because it's cheaper. This means less stations for people who really need them (road trippers and people in apartments or condos with no at-home option)...

Same problem here, wife is 95 lbs. Airbag argument aside, the Rivian should detect a person (of any size) in the passenger seat and enable HVAC controls.

Nice setup, thanks for the info. How is the load-balancing when both vehicles are plugged in and sharing the 48amps? Is it intelligent like it would be for plugging in 2 Teslas - where the HPWC's and the Teslas negotiate the amperage that each vehicle needs, based on state of charge etc...

This is my understanding too. They don't show inside the truck but you can view on your computer. I think the manual even says this.

Just picked up my R1S this past weekend (VIN 20,xxx) and I've got the GPS hunting/bounce etc. Vehicle is running 2023.34.0. Interested to see if it will be fixed by software or it's a service visit.

Is that the old CompUSA store on Dale Mabry near the 275 ramp? Brings back memories of when I lived in Carrollwood. Hope Rivian lasts longer than CompUSA - or maybe they already have.

Still says "processing estimate". March 2021 pre-order, I live near a service center. Just a basic launch edition R1S, no underbody, no PPF, no max pack or tent or anything else to delay the order but still no love from Rivian.
