I hear you but to the average person, these vehicles are “SUVs”. Vehicles that are taller than a sedan and have a hatch. Anything from a Genesis G60 to the old Hummer H1.
In car shopping websites, there’s a SUV section but no crossover section. Motortrend has SUV of the year even 90% of the...
My experience:
Make an appointment with Rivian now even it’s months away. Check back on the app multiple times a day. They might have an earlier appointment available if someone no longer needs it.
Just want to share a couple of photos of what I use. It’s a Hollywood Rack Sport Rider. It holds two 80-pound bikes with tires up to 5” wide. US based company though rack made in Taiwan.
While the 1Up and Quikrstuff are super nice, we don’t transport our bikes much and couldn’t justify paying...
I’ve used conserve mode exactly zero times over 18 months of ownership. Highway commute everyday. Longest trip was a 140-mile round trip.
I probably should use it at least a few times just to make sure it works.
After extensive research, I also just had the same tires installed by Discount Tire a few days ago. They didn’t mention anything about the load rating. I don’t tow at all so they’re more than adequate. Got them for $286 a piece versus $500 for the OEM Pirelli.
I feel the same way. All the VW and Audi EVs are just not that appealing for some reasons. Even BMW is selling way more EVs than VW.
The ID Buzz was delayed how many years? And cost how much now?
The ID7. Is it still coming? How much will it cost?
If they’re pricing an ID Buzz with 230 miles...
I’ve been getting that cover removed and reattached a lot this summer (for a bike rack) and I’ve got the hang of it. But I do see the plastic taps starting to wear out.
I might just make this a once a season thing. Put the cover on for winter, and leave it off for the summer. I might get...
I’d not get a Rivian if I were you just because the SC is 5 hours away. Even if the R2 is available to you now. It’s all about peace of mind.
I couldn’t really think of any non-Tesla that can go 225 miles in 10F weather. Maybe a Lucid Air? But it also has its own share of issues. And Lucid SC...
I used to do that but i figure I could just look at the 360 camera and it shows the line where the garage floor meets the concrete step. Don’t know what exactly that area is called but there’s where the garage door meets the floor.
My favorite feature from this update has gotta be the automatic front camera. I have a small garage and I need to turn on the camera every time I pull into the garage. Now it automatically does it for me.
That’s be great if true. While I appreciate the fact that we have a Halloween mode, it would suck if we need to wait until 10/30 to have it active and could only use it for a couple days.
I’d choose neither.
I always think about this. I’ll keep my QM LE until it dies or until I can no longer afford out of warranty repairs but if I’m so unfortunate I totaled it, I might just get a used Model Y for $30k and wait for the R2 since I can still take priority delivery.
No puns intended.
We’re complaining about a big SUV being too slow because it gets to 60mph in 3.6(?) seconds. What an amazing time we’re living in! ?
There were several incidents that the tire shop claimed they know about the jack point, and then STILL jacked up the vehicle at the wrong spot. I’d watch them work on my vehicle like a hawk and make sure they know what they’re doing.
