115 H rating is allowed to install ?
I don't see why not. Isn't 115 H = 2670lbs/wheel? That should only be just 100lbs less per wheel

Oh Okay, Thanks.
one my tire has bulge,Rest of the tires has more or less 4/32 depth.

Thinking to buy Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 R22 115H . Some of them mentioned some stores denied to install.

It seems these are best alternatives.

Due to a strange rule, for XL load rated tires, the official load calculation takes 10% off the load rating and that technically falls below Rivian’s total load for the rear axle. Now the 2022’s did come with 115H tires and if you check the shop for 22’s for the longest time the stock photo still shows 115H. But some shops won’t install it since it doesn’t technically meet the 116H “HL” rating. Should be fine in real world unless you max tow.

There's a bunch of threads on this bit of tire load rating trivia, but CancerDoc TLDR'd it well. I'm not a towing person, and went with 115s, and I'm fine with it.

I've got the same tires in 22. Switched from the Pirelli 22s. First 1000 miles my range was down a bit, but after break in period, over course of the second thousand, I'm right around 2.1-2.2, which is pretty close to my avg efficiency with the OEM Pirelli's. (2.27 for 15k miles). The ride is far more comfortable., and the sidewalls are slightly wider in profile so much easier to avoid curb rash. In terms of traction, they fishtail easier under hard cornering + acceleration out of the turn. I haven't been able to test them in wet conditions yet, but the Pirelli's were pretty bad in water, so I'm hopeful these will be an improvement. Overall, very happy with them, and much less expensive than replacing with Pirelli.
Just to make sure you replaced your Pirellis with the Michelin Defender LTX MS2? This what Discount Tire is recommending for me as my OEM Pirellis on my launch edition R1S are done for (16k miles). My original tires are high load so they suggested these.

The OEM tires are 116H. The Michelins are 115H…..is that a problem?

Just reduces the payload you can safely carry with your Rivian. It's about 100lbs per tire less :)

After extensive research, I also just had the same tires installed by Discount Tire a few days ago. They didn’t mention anything about the load rating. I don’t tow at all so they’re more than adequate. Got them for $286 a piece versus $500 for the OEM Pirelli.

got it! Thank you. I read prior post about the load rates so I guess that’s what it was referring to. Discount Tire ordered the tires and will install them tomorrow.

if you don’t mind me asking, what was your total install price? I’m being quoted $1825 out the door. That’s for the Michelin Defender LTX MS2 115H

This is the OTD price. They had a $80 off offer going on for Michelin but it ended on 10/22. $306/tire original price. $20 off each = $286/tire.
