I just called my insurer this morning. Had to spell R-I-V-I-A-N as the agent was not familiar with the name :CWL: I got a quote of $1847+tx. Not too bad as I currently pay $1555+tx for my M3P. So 19% more. Beneva is my insurer.

Well, the 4 closest match (for wheel size, battery size and interior) are with colours El Cap Granite, Limestone, Glacier White and LA Silver. No Forest Green :(. Seeing the colours in person would help decide.

If it had been available the Tri-Ascent would have been my choice as well. But as it is it's not even clear we'll even get the dual motors refresh (for the R1T I mean), according to André's post above. Oh well, worst case I'll save 10K !

My biggest disappointment at this point is that with all the delays (shop still not opened for us), I might not get to enjoy my R1T for the summer vacations. At least not the week I was planning early July. Maybe for my second vacation week in August.

My understanding is that any custom order would arrive too late, and the tri motor is out of the question (it won't even be available before late fall). However there should be dual motor 2025 models in the shop this summer. In the US they already see some R1S DM 2025 in the shop.

Just wondering what are your thoughts. I guess for people looking at the R1S, the improved ride quality would appear like a must? @PostMinivanDad ? In any case, since they nerfed the large pack (20-21hwk less), only the max pack would make sense to me. I'm very suspicious of their EPA range...

OK, daily shop report: there are now 18 R1T fitting my search criteria (DM perf, 21", large pack). There were 6 yesterday. Could it be that they sent a number of US models to be sold here?
