This! 15 minutes to 80 percent when road tripping is completely doable, the new Cayenne will do it in 16 minutes when at a proper DC fast charger. It won't be too much longer when this is common with EV's here in the States and proper chargers are in place across the country.

Rivian has ALWAYS stated Spring 2026 for R2, the Summer solstice starts Sunday, June 21, at 4:24 A.M. EDT so technically if they start deliveries on June 20th...they are keeping to their word. Go Rivian!

I think the most exciting thing is, Rivian will not sit back and coast along with the hardware once they get to high volume and firm financial grounding. It's a given the software will always be updated, but customers expect meaningful design changes with new color options over the years like...

When the Coastal Cloud interior becomes available, I really wish they would offer it with the black headliner. I have a light grey headliner now in my current vehicle, and drive with windows down often...it's gotten very dirty over the years.
