Spoke to some other folks yesterday who drove it during the MT test and said you’ll be lucky if you get 275-285 miles out of a charge. Efficiency is not with this one. I think a big part of it are the tires they are using.
So confirmed by my service manager. Jounce line update is in place as long as customer suggests chirping noise present.
Separately, on our R1S they are also replacing the dampers referenced as a retrofit, however, they have a different PN as the dampers suggested here. My assumption is because...
Update - looked at what’s currently installed in our 2023 R1S and pn is 100055319-B, so completely different PN and also Revision.
Will keep posted after the bring in the new parts onto the car, but without knowing anything further seems like there are indeed new front struts being installed on...

Some notable things:
1. AC compressor vibrations moved from foot pedal to the steering wheel
2. Doors feel extremely cheap (like Corolla cheap)
3. Ride in my opinion isn’t considerable “better” per se, but different. I still...
Issue 1 - got replaced by service and never happened again. Mine would come off no matter how many times I put it back.
issue 2 - got fixed by service probably similar fashion people mention here
Issue 3 - they put the new pad in my gen1 and it still sucks. There are aftermarket option is you...
Typically dampers are “valved” for load ratings. Rivian has blatantly said the dampers between the R1T and the R1S on Gen 1 vehicles are the same. R1T max tow used to be 11000kg on the large.
gen2 vehicles are said to now have they’re own dedicated dampers. Sure, they probably ride more in tune...
