I did read that. But as I recall (take that for what it's worth), it also said this was a guideline, and it would likely depend on state laws for binding contracts. I read the law for my state (Washington) and Rivian's contract looks good here - WA law does not seem to set any minimum amounts...

Same thing happened to me. It said free shipping, but there was no way to place the order without picking a paid shipping option.

My guess would be that the Defender in that size only has an "R" speed rating - 106mph. The Rivian's limited won't slow you down until 111. That's why the OEM tires all have at least an "S" speed rating (112mph).
