It’s hard to remember that far back but I’d say new Pirellis and new ATIII have about the same noise volume but different pitch. If memory serves, the Pirellis were higher pitch. Neither are distracting when new.

Yeah. I have been a loyal TIDAL user for years but I’m considering the same. I don’t have streaming quality issues in my Gen 1 Elevation, but the UI is awful. And Apple Music auto switching between Atmos and stereo is pretty cool.

If anyone in Austin is willing to let me measure their Gen 2 Premium system, I can provide some objective measurements of it’s performance.
