There appears to be a lot of features tied specially to a Connect+ membership. And at $15/month (less annually), it's hard to beat the pricing on an essentially an unlimited hotpot data plan.
Curious if any of you a) are not going to purchase Connect+ after the trial and b) are instead going...
It was for me, coincidence or not. Noticeably high VD with the vehicle sitting at home during a 6 day vacation, followed by a Replace 12V Battery notification in the app and completely dead car yesterday, despite charging and driving it for a day after returning from said vacation. Car still...
Glad I found this message and confirming this may be true. Vampire drain was never an issue for me - maybe 1% every 2 to 3 days - until my vacation last week where the car sat at home for 6 days, unplugged at 72% SOC. From the app I could see it was losing 1% a day, which I thought was strange...
Automakers want to sell more EVS? Keep investing in ways to reduce charging being such a pain in the ass. The biggest barrier to EV ownership isn't cost, it's range anxiety. Make charging as fast, simple, and cost effective as filling up with gas and the war will be won.
Better than where it is now but still not ideal. They had to compromise with existing R1 owners. The ideal place is passenger front. Tesla, towing, and streets side compatibility.
Suspension selection: Soft > Moderate > Firm (right now it strangely goes Soft > Firm > Moderate).
Vent presets should remember if a vent is on or off.
Tapping the fan speed should turn on the HVAC, if it is off. Right now you have to use the power button icon.
If no one is in the pasenger...
Not entirely true. It can objectively suck if a large majority of customers don't care for it or otherwise have a negative view of it. The use a video game engine rendering, which would suggest a target audience of between 18 and 34 (~60% of the gaming demo), does not squarely align with the...
I could see a few people not caring about updates, but if the headlights didn't turn on when you received the vehicle, and now they do after an update, we'll that's crazy. ?
Shouldn't be a surprise, Volvo ranks among the lowest in terms of reliability.
How they can't deliver a light theme on their navigation in time for launch is comical. Is Jim from the art department out sick?
Agree, the reason isn't obvious. VW hovers around 7th or 8th in the US, selling more cars than BMW and Mercedes; the company is showing YOY growth, especially in EVS; the id4 and E-Tron are competitive vehicles, etc. Their software has issues but $5bn to fix?
Maybe an infrastructure play to...
Would normally agree but given OP's lack of familarity/skill with electrical systems I would not rule out him inadvertently shorting something or merely having the frunk open too long and draining the 12v (not sure if that's actually a thing, but something left on or open).
