I think some people's idea of "matching" are different than mine. I'm going to buy one of those Amazon ones and wrap it with matching fabric. Might have to modify it a bit due to the added weight.
Are there any roof shades out there that match the fabric (Alcantara?) and color of the Black Mountain headliner, which seems more grey than black?
All I am finding are black options and hoping for something that actually looks like it belongs there, rather than temporary.
8/32" minimum tread depth and preferred repair free. If repaired, nothing remotely close to the side wall. Can pick up if in SoCal, otherwise will pay for shipping. Thanks!
Those with issues, does wifi connectivity work? Try connecting to wifi and do the resets.
I have a weird problem where my music apps work, but maps are offline.
There is zero, and I mean zero, justification for having the charge port anywhere on the driver side given 99.9% of us parallel park with the sidewalk on the pasenger side. Neither Rivian nor Tesla really thought it out but hey, hindsight. Respect RJ but R2 charge port location continues with...

Not sure what Nissan is getting here since Fisker outsources it's vehicle production. Plus the Ocean isn't anything to write home about.
Balancing is about the wheel AND the tire. There is a lot of uneven tread wear happening due to weight, power distribution and air suspension raising and lowering, all which can throw off balance. Or maybe you lost a weight somewhere. You are paying money, why not do it right?!
I mentioned this in the other thread but you are all doing yourselves a disservice by having the mobile techs rotate your tires since they aren't balancing them. That is extremely important, especially on these vehicles.
You all realize the mobile service doesn't balance your tires when they rotate them and that is pretty much a necessity on these vehicles given the uneven wear due to weight, high torque, biased distribution of power to the front wheels (conserve mode), and frequent ride height adjustments...
Fingers crossed indeed, and yes, Tesla had virtually zero competition for years which allowed them to scale and build efficiencies. Different world now. If anyone can do it, Rivian can.
They sure do, as does Lucid.

At last check, Rivian was losing $30k per R1. To turn a profit, you need volume to overcome your fixed labor and overhead costs (you'll save a bit on COGS, but not materially so). With the flat production outlook for 2024, it doesn't look good for cash burn. Sure it has Saudi money, but no...
