It's interesting that, as of this post, only Gen 1 owners responded. The Gen 1 helped:hurt ratio is 31:3. That's quite good. I wonder what Gen 2 results will reveal.

I think that's a real concern of replacing the system with aftermarket components. We just saw that an OTA can significantly change the system's baseline character. If you had aftermarket hardware, you'd probably need to retune it yourself after every audio-related update.

Yvw. Back and forth, unfortunately. I plan to petition Rivian to add custom EQ slots that change depending on the source.

I'm glad. Not sure. I've heard widely differing things about how the update affected people's systems, and it's not always clear what generation, system, or even model vehicle they have. You can try these settings and see, but I suspect they won't work as well as they do for a Gen 1 R1S Elevation.

I was surprised, too. A parametric EQ with frequency and Q adjustments would be really level up the system. Multiple custom EQ slots would too, especially now that we have Atmos. Let me know what you think about the suggestions!
