I'm glad. Based on what others have said about the Gen 2 Premium system's performance, it's unlikely that my Gen 1 Elevation recommendations will help Gen 2 Premium. I'm measuring @skyote 's Gen 1 Meridian this weekend and will do Gen 2 Premium next.

Glad to hear it. I don't know of a better way. I do the same thing you do. If I lose track of where I am, I go back to 0 and start again. ?

I'd start with the stereo settings and bring 2 kHz to 0, 4 kHz to 0/-1, then bump 63 Hz to -1 if you want a little more bump for Atmos tracks. That should be a reasonable compromise between the two.

That's a clever idea. Assuming the EQ stage is digital and applied before the DAC stage, it shouldn't affect SNR. But you'll want to be careful about using EQ to reduce overall volume. Each EQ band has a width (aka "Q"). It affects frequencies at its center much more than at its low and high...

Yeah, the new volume scale is a bit aggressive. I suspect the engineers were trying to hit certain performance targets but "ability to hear people in the back while music is playing" wasn't one of them. It's probably worth mentioning to CS.

That is interesting. What kind of differences are you hearing between Atmos and stereo, apart from Atmos's additional spatial information? Unfortunately, no, we can't save different EQ sets and switch between them automatically—though I will ask Rivian to add that feature to their roadmap...
