Speedos show +1 MPH(car is slower than speed shown) as per NHTSA regulations. The Odometer should be(is, if you're running the right tires) spot on. You can verify that with GPS navigation.
R1 vehicles have a more traditional braking system design and it’s not as complex as other BEVs. The brake pedal has a direct connection with the brake booster so blending is impossible, using the brake pedal.
Maybe in the R2….
Rivian is not capable of “Coasting”. They can(technically) eliminate regen completely via software updates but their braking pedal cannot utilize the regen feature, so they have to use the throttle to control regen and the brake pedal when you need friction brakes.
Whacha mean anyone? It’s my personal car… :CWL:
It’s my baby. Garage kept. Detailed every week lol
A few lunches here and there at traffic lights but nothing crazy like track days or anything like that.
Guessing about $2-4k. Plastic panels (fender flare, bumper edge piece, front painted lower bumper piece and the tow hook bezels) are not that expensive... Labor included, I'm guessing right around $2000-$4000.
It happened in Arizona. Unfortunately the driver didn't make it. Looks like he pushed it too much and couldn't handle the power. R.I.P to the young driver who lost his life. I'm just glad he didn't take anyone else with him.
