95% of the receptacles in your household are not split. And those that are split, don't necessarily have 2 phases wired to them... So you're talking about a very rare case... But yeah, you're technically right, you can get 2 Ls out of one receptacle :)
They replaced that part for me under warranty for the same concern. The new part was chipped(probably got chipped while it was swapped) also but it was so small that I just left it....
Here are the pictures I posted at another thread...
EDIT: I just noticed that it’s not designed by Rivian… sorry lol
WTH?? They copied my fender stripes :CWL::CWL:
I added these to my truck when I wrapped it in the RAD livery.
I copied everything else from them so I guess we’re even now ??
I was at Costco yesterday trying to order the LTX M/S 2s but they’re on back order. I’m actually looking to change them right away, I’m not going to drive around like that. I’ll see if tire rack has them but it sucks that Costco doesn’t have them.
Thanks y’all for the advice!
Thank you all for your feedback. I guess the hot weather is the culprit. I’ve never seen anything like it on any of my other vehicles.
I went on a dirt road once and did some drifts but nothing that will cause that.
Why do people keep argue here? Lol
It was answered in one of the first posts.
Rivian has one inverter with 4 plugs that are daisy-chained to each other, There's only one phase line and that's why you cannot combine the plugs and get 220v.(Just like you cannot plug that adapter to both outlets on...
Why the heck does my tires look like that?
anyone else has this issue?
All 4 tires look chewed up and really messed up. 15k miles on them…
The tire in the pictures is the rear driver side tire and it’s the worst one. I just noticed that it’s missing huge chunks of the treads, all the way to the...
OneAZ CU offers 5.8% apr for new vehicles. Although, it’s considered refinancing, so you might not get the best rate. I got 6.2% for a used 2022 R1T.
Idk why I didn’t notice you mentioning it’s an M50 haha
Yeah it should have plenty of power!
Back-to-Back the R1 does feel more aggressive but I like the extra regen.
Put it in B mode. It’s very aggressive. I think the i4 has B mode like the iX but you also have to consider the power output, if the motors have more power, you’ll have more regenerative power. So the i4 might be less aggressive.
Wait till you have to pay $10.99/mo to be able to use the gear tunnel... These will be interesting times lol
Having a guy dive 100s of times a day just to take pictures of every ft² with his iPhone so you can have birds-eye view of your area cost a lot of money!!!! Pay up! :CWL::like:
Bottom line: You get used to it within a day or two and then it's awesome.
Explanation for why that is the case with Rivian:
It's very complicated to make a braking system (Fly by wire) that has the ability to take advantage of regen when the brake pedal is pressed. I Own an iX and that car is...
