I hate these stupid answers that they always give. Everything is "normal". It's not normal, you just don't have a fix for it!!!!!
Incompetence at its best.
I just found out that they only warranty these stupid 12v batteries up to 36k miles, which I'm over already... Living in AZ, I'm sure I'll have to deal with it soon.... Kinda scary
You can check that by gently resting your foot on the brake pedal while on Highway assist and see if the pedal moves when the car has to slow down. I'm pretty sure they still do that.
You probably enabled brake assist because even charging to 80% will limit regen for the first half mile of the drive. If it’s enabled, you won’t see the limit, it’ll just use friction brakes to compensate for the decrease in regen and you won’t see an indication for it on the gauge cluster.
The vehicle uses the brakes a lot more than you'd think. Driver Assistance prioritize the friction brakes and it causes the pads to wear out in about 40-50k miles(Very bad for an electric vehicle)
If you turn off the "brake assist" option in the DA settings, you'll see when you get limited...
Wow! Just opened a ticket with them so hopefully they'll get it done for me. What did you tell them your issue was?
I'm driving 280 miles to the Las Vegas SC because the Phoenix one is crap, so I want to make sure they can take care if that before I get there.
Yup.... Too long to activate.... If you're in and out in 3-4 seconds, no headlight activation. Especially if the sun is bright at the end of the tunnel/underpass, the headlights just stay off, no matter how long you stay in the tunnel.
I actually like them being on all the time, especially with the new colors. Entering a tunnel or a parking garage is a great example of why I want them on all the time... You pass under a tunnel and the lights present themselves. Even if it's only for a brief couple of seconds, I like seeing that...
Hey guys!
I got a NACS to CCS adapter from A2Z for sale.
I got my official Rivian adapter so I don’t need it anymore. It was used about 3-4 times and is working flawlessly.
Will upload the pictures in a couple hours but wanted to put it out there for inquiries.
$150. I'd prefer local pickup...
Same. I'm trying to sell mine because of the service experience. The truck is fine but there are small things that bother me, coming from high-end German vehicles. The AC is actually great, no complaints there.
