You’re probably right, but coupled with other stories about service stuff I’ve seen on here, there seems to be underlying issues with the way the service process is structured.
But I did indeed mention the poor service experience to all three of the people at Service HQ that I spoke to today
Quick summary for those who didn't see my other thread: About two weeks ago, I got a big rock chip in my windshield which very rapidly transformed into a large crack that went from the impact point all the way to the top of the windshield. I was initially quoted a service appointment nearly 4...
It’s grown bigger! First pic is from 08/08, second is from 08/09. Didn’t drive the truck at all, this happened just from sitting in the garage.
On the plus side, just a couple hours after sending these to Rivian via email, I got a new service date of August 15th, and they (unsolicited) arranged...
So I guess mini-update, the crack has spread upwards about an inch and a half from just sitting in the garage
Spoke to a new service person, and he said he would actually contact the Bellevue Service Center and get some answers, rather than just attaching a note to the report like the last gal...
For anyone deeply invested in my windshield woes, the main service center called me. I was told that the part is supposed to be in this week, but soonest I can get in to the Bellevue Service Center to actually have it replaced is September 6th.
The woman on the phone was very apologetic, and...
Yeah, like I’m pretty sure a slightly thicker/stronger windshield isn’t going to have any noticeable impact on any other function of the vehicle.
I’m not asking for a windshield that can take an AP round, I just want something that doesn’t break when you look at it funny
So, maybe I've just had an atrocious run of luck, but since taking delivery in March, I've had more rocks hit my windshield than any other car I've owned
And that wouldn't be an issue, except for the fact that the R1T's windshield seems to be fragile beyond belief. Every single little pebble...
Oh that’s so weird. Mine doesn’t do anything like that. The only thing I’ve noticed is that on some of my longer plays list (like 100+ songs) it’ll cut off the last 50 or so
That could be some of it! I was more looking at the part where it said that "...reducing the frequency of suspension adjustments when the vehicle is at a stand still (4x reduction)"
