Those are mostly used or lower $ new cars. Current pricing for R1's is very Niche. I have 2 and would have 0 at current pricing.

Thats how business works in America. Almost all large corporations have PACs etc. This can be a huge deal to Rivian just like other bills may be a huge deal to another business so for business reasons they have to be involved.

It sucks that only us early adopters got the very good Meridian system. To me this is an area that should not be skimped on (especially at msrp level now) and Rivian has made it worse over the 3 hardware changes through the years.
