Its a great option for long trips. Took our Model 3 on a 4,000 mile trip this summer and it drove 99% of time. So much easier and refreshed once we got to our destination. Then cancel when not taking trips.

Have 5 EV’s. Rivian 1st in OPD, M3 2nd, Mach e 3rd, Etron 4th but I kind of like hand pedals. i do like Mach e / etron for winter in ice with being able to completely turn off. M3 can get super sketchy.

Mine ended up being my A2Z extension cord. When plugged straight into the unit never have any issues. Hope yours gets worked out.

We drove model 3 about 1500 miles to Charlotte this summer. It took 45 minutes longer than google maps ice estimated. As long as long as chargers and optimal 5% to 60% charging is pretty damn close to most avg 20 min ice stops for gas food bathroom

I and many of my coworkers will take a $60k vehicle that does all R1s do. Can’t wait to get a Gen 2 quad at that price. Also, for other comments in thread. R1’s have plenty of range as is. People don’t like change, AI will make them have to accept it and layoffs are coming everywhere.
