I have been told there is a vehicle like I want at the Atlanta SC. I live in Middle TN near the Franklin SC. How long should a transfer like this take?
That thought had entered into my head recently. I hate the thought of sending all the payment up front. I would think this would also help avoid any overpayment.
So reading these stories of having to transfer funds and at least one of overpayment and slow refund, I wonder if it is better to go with the Rivian financing and pay it off immediately. I would enjoy hearing other thoughts.
IMO you should take the deal. Following the forum and my very limited experience with the buying process you may end up getting pushed out anyway. i think it is a toss up before or after. if anything new is introduced, you will be a beta tester for the new configuration.
Lease isn’t really an option in TN, I was just hoping it might be before I wanted to get the vehicle. Turns out I couldn’t wait, I am in the buying process now. I should get one that is already built, so that takes out the after pause concern.
So I have tracked the efficiency of my gas vehicles for as long as I have owned one (1987). I am trying to figure out the best way to do that on an EV. I realize the vehicle will do that for you, but many of my gas vehicles would do that and that were overly optimistic. I guess as long as I...
I placed an order for a standard + on 3/6. Rivian found a close match (needed a tire change) and my guide said 2-4 weeks. When I checked my account it has configuration confirmed, with changed tires, but large battery pack and extra $6000 on the price. Trying to patiently wait until Monday to...
I have always wondered why the port was on the driver’s side anyway. If you park on the street you have to pull the cable around the car and stand in the street to plug in.
Just wanted to close the loop and thank everyone for their input. I went for a demo today. The demo R1T was not available, but we drove a quad R1S. When we got home (about 1.5 hour drive) I got my slot for an R1T. It mentioned 4 months until delivery, so my worry about the production freeze...
It is my first all electric, I owned a hybrid 2004-2010. I got to drive a R1S today and I think I can live with an electric. I would rather lease, but since that is not available in TN, I have gotten my "slot".
