  1. I LOVE THIS TRUCK. This thing can literally do it all.

I've been putting mine next to the spare tire. But haven't used it too much. I've got some other mtb stuff that goes in the gear tunnel door.
  2. Maryland New R1T All Weather Mats - $150

These are new and unused. Black logo. Pickup in Baltimore though I'll consider meeting somewhere nearby.
  3. Cv shafts keep popping out

I agree with most of this. The forums are what they are. Lots of people dissatisfied or otherwise frustrated for any number of reasons. In many cases understandable. There are also many different views on the severity of the issues. The CV issue seems to be relatively widespread but it's not...
  4. Just bought new OEM factory 20" AT wheels

Nice find. Please report back on the efficiency of this setup vs whatever you have on it now.
  5. Pizza Tunnel ?

Meridian will be in touch soon to point out two things: First, they are not responsible for cheese sliding off the pizza due to excessive vibration. Second, Chinese food and British acoustic elements may not mix well if spilled. Also, if we're voting, my pizza goes in the frunk. Out of sight...
  6. Service just hosed up my Recall appointment

Yeah, just check that it's not less than 30 ftlbs. If it is, still crank it up to 90 but let rivian know as they may want to inspect for damage.
  7. Navigation screen tips

You're not alone. I've done this too many times! Thanks for the post OP.
  8. Getting the RIDE menu back?

What were the key presses to get you to the ride screen password? Pretty sure John Muir was involved and it wasn't up down left right A B A B...
  9. R1S Adventure delivering soon? Just received email: "Prepare for the Digital Purchasing Process"

Correct. Those are separate emails. I got the first one that the op received at the same time I got shop access.
  10. R1S Adventure delivering soon? Just received email: "Prepare for the Digital Purchasing Process"

The magic email you're looking for is the one with this subject : It’s time to begin the purchase process. Once I received that email, I logged in and had a VIN assigned with 8 step process open.
  11. Leaking oil from front passenger side.

That's no good. Hopefully your engine still turns over when you turn the ignition! If not, try adding some gas. If you can get it to them, I'm sure Meineke will take care of you. (In all seriousness, what oil is this? Hydraulic fluid from suspension? Brake fluid? Mystery juice?)
  12. Spooky Riv sound from frunk

Interesting. I tried lubricant but mine still make the sound. They need to take this to the service center to fix the sound because they have to remove more of the components than mobile tech could do. I don't mind it to much. Told em I'll send it in when there's more than a vampire coffin sound...
  13. Does this Rivian patent demonstrate Max Pack module positioning?

To each his own on the storage, but 'heavy lumbering' is something this truck will not be. Even in its max pack config. It's already ~7200lbs. Whats another 300-400lbs when there's 835hp and 900+ft-lbs torque? As for the under seat storage, for me, it's a nice addition. But the gear tunnel and...
  14. After 6 months of driving R1T.

Thanks. Makes sense with the offroad use and 20s.
  15. After 6 months of driving R1T.

Good for you getting this thing out so much! What's your efficiency been like for those 20k.? I'm only at 1k but seeing 2.1 so far.
  16. Rivian Shop: All Wheel Options Now Available for Purchase (10/11/2022)

Considering the tires are $1600+, this seems like a steal. Forged 20s for $600/wheel. Am I missing something?
  17. Registration Improvement!

I was nervous but my title and tags came exactly 28 days after delivery. This in MD. Hoping things get better for others on this front too.
  18. ⚠️ Rivian Recall: insufficiently torqued front upper control arm & steering knuckle fastener [official torque value = 90 lb-ft / 122 Nm]

It's easily visible even without steering out. Just slide in from the front of the truck not the side. It's super easy to reach as well. I'll get a torque wrench out in the morning once it's light out. I can see the red marks and they don't appear to have slipped at all. I'm about 150mi from SC...
