I see now that the reference to all season in the title would have thrown folks off. My bad. Made the change for posterity.
Thanks to the crew for clarity.
As in the title, I'm looking to move to 20" wheels from the sport 22s on my Gen 1 R1T. One option seems to be the Gen 2 20" all seasons, which I like the look of.
Would these be compatible? Do they have the same bolt pattern and offset? Any other thoughts/considerations would be welcome...
My truck doesn't sleep when the power outlets are switched on. No camp mode needed though maybe that decreases the energy consumption as my truck eats 1mi/hr when the outlets are switched on.
Glad to hear they corrected this quickly for you. And thank you for sharing your experience.
I know this was a warranty item, but curious whether you're receipt for the service stated the cost of the new battery? I'm not worried about this personally, but curious what they charge internally for...
Nothing better than the sound of some turbo spool. Except maybe for the sound of a large volume, naturally aspirated V8. Or maybe the space sound my ID 4 makes. Come to think of it, I love all car sounds. Except for the sound of a jalopy dragging it's oil pan. That sucks.
Unless your trailer is a pop up theater. Then you fit right in and get bonus points.
Actually, these should be free to use as long as the owner of charging vehicle agrees to act out a stream of monologues selected by passersby.
There's got to be a business model that works here.
Finally got the call and set appt for early May. They said it would take a few days and would provide a loaner, but possibly not R1 depending on availability. Glad Gaithersburg finally got it's hands on the some of these parts. I'll report back when it's real.
Does it track overall efficiency including losses from idle, vampire drain, etc? It seems to show these things independently but I can't see anywhere that it is shows the entire picture for the truck. Seems an obvious miss - unless I'm the one missing it.
Agreed. This result is reasonable for today's Rivians but it's not great. My results with an ID.4 are in line with what you quoted for your Ioniq 5. Usually loses about 1-2% for a week when sitting idle in the garage.
I am hopeful that the new network architecture Rivian is kicking off later...
Curious if anyone has been called to schedule one of these appointments? My service ticket has been in since Dec 2022 and I'm sure there are many ahead of me. I'd love my tonneau fixed before the new year but unclear how quickly they'll be tackling this.
Let us know your experiences. (I will...
I did the 5 tire rotation. Used only rivian tools that came with the truck. Took about 35-40 minutes. No issues encountered during the process. I do think I'll get an aftermarket puck (the included one is plastic and not sure about durability) and use a proper jack to make things faster.
They have the freedom to design a lot of things. This pad is great, but it doesn't do anything special other than let you see the light bar. Any medium sized pad also shows the side brake lights.
As someone mentioned, they should use their design time to find a good solution for 12,000 tonneau...
