A long, long time. I'd wager 2024, late 2023 at BEST.
Reservations aren't transferable. If you change the delivery or contact info it will be flagged and reviewed.
In fairness to the iX, it'd be a home run if it just looked halfway decent. I really, really like the i4 and I think it's quite underrated.
But an ugly BMW minivan is going to depreciate like crazy. If someone loves it and doesn't care, buy it! If torn between the iX and something like a pre...
I doubt a flip is going to be worth it for a Q4 2021! The market on these things is already dropping, by the time a Q4 2021 rolls out and you factor in tax/registration/etc.. meh.
It's, what, $10?
Ask them to pay it if you're concerned.
Again, I would personally prefer that people working on my stuff have a better experience even if it costs me an extra $10.
Is it ideal? No. Enough for a forum post? Meh.
Eh. I don't consider that a big deal, honestly. It was probably the most convenient route without traffic at that time
Ask them to pay it if you're really concerned. I personally wouldn't expect, or want, service to take weird routes & traffic just to avoid a toll.
It's definitely very good for it's size, but nothing as outstanding as some reviews would have you believe. It's still a big, 7,000+ vehicle.
I've found it comparable to something like a Range Rover sport, except less body roll at the expense of some comfort.
Something like a Mach E or iPace...
Oct/Dec window but my guide texts me almost daily. Weird how random the windows and guide assignments are.
No new info from my guide, though, he's just watching closely to make sure OC won't cause a delay but that's all.
The "RJ can do no wrong" crowd is on point today.
Good tempered glass is (SHOULD BE) incredibly strong material. Ie.. stronger than a normal car panel. This is just a fact, it's not really up for debate. A tempered glass roof capable of passing rollover testing should be stronger than an...
I was really unimpressed by the EV6 I drove. It has really favorable reviews, but I thought it felt cheap and drove like a generic compact SUV (except faster obviously).
I wasn't as blown away by my R1T drive as others have been, but it was still miles ahead of the EV6 IMO.
Wow. This is a really bad look for Rivian, while it may be.. questionable to stand on your pano roof it should ABSOLUTELY have no problem holding that weight. I wonder if this is an issue with the panel itself or a design flaw in how it's seated in the roof.
For real world impact, if you're out...
My guide is usually very, very responsive and checked with his contacts about this. I think you were offered something very unusual; I wonder if someone randomly backed out at delivery or something and they just wanted to get the truck off their list.
Temperature was likely the biggest change here. C&D, like other publications, goes out of their way to hide details of their testing. They WANT different results to make a click baiting article.
They claim 57 degrees vs 85 degrees. But what was the temperature when they actually left? Was it...
Yeah, I wish they could just be clear. They must have a production sheet of specs they're building to end of year. We know they're doing batches, so it should be simple enough to tell us if that's an even number of BM/FE/OC or if one is getting significantly more runs
I know they're building...
Since the OC update this week?
Originally I was told it caused a delay, but since the update I was told it shouldn't. They're pushing out R1Ts with OC right now, but I haven't seen any R1S' with it (only a handful of confirmed R1S 8 steps, all BM)
It'll really depend on what car you have.
If it's a luxury brand, you should really shop dealerships as they're hungry for inventory.
Otherwise Carvana and the company Rivian uses are good options.
I've yet to have a good experience at Carmax, always feels scammy to me
I wish rear shades and a moonroof cover were mandatory on all cars, honestly.
But the chance of Rivian adding it is almost zero. It adds complexity to the doors and they're already struggling to get the seals right as we've seen from wind noise complaints.
Guide. He recommended I change it asap, and said he'd keep a close eye on early deliveries to see if OC might be causing a delay.
But their new guidance is the updated OC does NOT cause a delay and will be in regular production.
But it's Rivian so who knows.
