Probably unpopular take here but my navigation has been great with no issues. Occasionally I compare what my Rivian is suggesting versus Waze, Apple, and Google maps, and almost every time it’s identical. Maybe I’ve just been lucky, but so far so good!

This is a big miss for the R1S. I regularly go out to grab stuff from my frunk at night in the garage and even with my overhead garage lights on I can hardly see anything. Really need a good solution here.

Just installed mine yesterday with Apple pucks. Mixed feelings about it… The good: installation was easy, looks great, love the small storage area, it sticks well to my phone out of the case. The bad: the factory pad charged my phone in the MagSafe compatible case. This does not. Real bummer...

No idea. Have the same question. My 2024 has done this since the day I got it. Had 2023 loaner from service center, it did the same thing.

I have not tried either of these in the frunk yet - Rivian R1S only a few weeks old, one of which was spent at the Service Center getting a new HV battery... BUT, these are what I've always used in my vehicles - one requires being plugged in and can do cold OR hot (great for transporting food)...

Just to confirm - the Service Center stated on Friday that "it's the HV battery" and that it needs to be replaced. I asked what caused this and he said "there are no notes in the system". My understanding is that the Service Center has ordered a new HV battery and are waiting for it to arrive...

Well I just got another call. It’s the HV battery. They don’t know when they will get one in so my car is on a “parts hold” with no estimated completion timing. I have a feeling I’ll be in the loaner for a bit… No explanation was given as to what could have caused this.

UPDATE For as much as this sucks, Rivian Service has been A+. Have called me multiple times already this morning. Got me set up with Uber vouchers and SUV rental, and have arranged an R1S loaner. Service Center still diagnosing but have ordered parts, expected Monday, and hopefully back on the...
