The point of this post was not for recommendations to call customer service - of course I can do that. It was to elicit feedback from recent purchasers to see if this has become the norm. Perhaps I was unnclear.
In any case, I will give it another week and then reach out to them.
I have a VIN and all - I had to get it on my insurance. I assume it’s just waiting game, but unnerving giving them 100k without any feedback.
we’ll see. I keep waiting.
A week ago I located a 2024 R1T from the shop, reserved it, went through all the steps, including paying for it and have not heard a peep from Rivian. No email (except order confirmation), no call, no text, no intro to guide, no updates for 7 days.
Either this is “working as expected” (yet...
I just ordered my fourth Rivian - another R1T. This time with the power tonneau (for $500!). Going through the scheduling process, but noticed in the fine print it says it may or may not be delivered with the tonneau cover (and will be scheduled for the fall with one if it is delivered...
I sold my R1T and no longer need these. They are new, never used. Though I don't have the box any longer.
Located in Stamford CT for local pickup Willing to ship at buyer's expense.
Asking $450
The bashing of Land Rover reliability on this forum is humorous. Both of my Rivian’s have spent more time in the shop than my last three Land Rovers combined (2 Defenders and a Discovery).
While I too am skeptical of LR relative to Honda/Toyota reliability, I don’t think they are appreciably...
Some pics. First is. A full shot, followed by side views of the panels as well as the fold junctions. I thought shots of the latching mechanism and attachments might be of interest, and then the fully folded panel set.
They did a nice job on the carbon, I think. We’ll see how long the...
Yes, I do think it’s worth the extra expense. I had the aluminum version on my first R1T and it’s definitely heavier than the carbon version. Not overly heavy, mind you, but there is a noticeable difference between the two. It’s also lighter enough to make it much easier to get it into the...
I can also attest to their customer service. I have the carbon version which is a bit lighter than the aluminum one. Makes it easier to stash in the gear tunnel.
One of the support bows on mine came unglued from the carbon top panel. After some pics, Lomax sent me an entirely new cover, as...
I disagree. While there might be an exceptionally small amount of braking degradation, it’s not completely off as is the case here.
And after driving for 25 minutes - the battery was still only at 41 degrees without braking.
