There was some chatter and a patent where two batteries operated at 450V in parallel when driving and then in series at 900V to charge. I'm hoping that's a difference between large and max packs. I would love to get near that 350kW charge rates that Porsche has.

We still need to get the crash test rating and people also forget to notice but on the configuration all the prices are still “estimated”. We don’t actually know what the truck costs yet!

I'm more inclined to leave my racks on with the Rivian than with my ICE vehicle. Mileage is so cheap with electricity and I have the ability to recharge every night. The only time I might take the racks off the Rivian is if I plan on testing the limits of its range.
